Damar Gum

Damar Gum is natural resin obtained from dipterocapaarceae tree mainly of Pesisir Barat Lampung, Sumatra – Indonesia. They used to be an important ingredient in many types of cellulose lacquers, imparting gloss and adgesive qualities and preventing a yellowing. Nowadays they find particular use as varnish for the fine arts. Gum Damar mainly used as emulsifier and stabilizer for the production of colour, paint, inks and aromatic emulsions on food and cosmetic industries, also for polishes, water-resistant coating and injection mould materials raw materials raw material for Hindustan Prayer.
